So it's a week before Christmas and our tree isn't even up, presents aren't wrapped and there's actually stuff we still need to pick up. What are we waiting for?

Steve is watching Austin tomorrow so he'll get all the Christmas stuff out, tree, wrapping, paper, decorations, etc. Then hopefully Thursday sometime and over the weekend we can decorate and wrap gifts! Wish me luck!

Wow, I finally did a lot of my Christmas Shopping today!!! It felt so good to be able to get out by myself for a little while! I haven't had the pleasure of just being able to walk around a store without being rush in a VERY long time! I just need to pick up a few things and then I am done!

I wrote a new poem today! I enjoy writing lyrical stuff but I never got around to ever learning how to write music to put to them. I've been writing though since I was around 8 or 9 and I still have a lot of stuff I've written back then in a binder that I have! Obviously my stuff has really progressed since I've gotten older because of having "real life" situations! This one today though, I love it! I may actually be one of my best! I wrote it in about 5 minutes! Normally once I get the hook and the first verse down, I'm set! About 10 years ago I wrote a few "movie scripts" too and a fiction novel. I'd love to get published someday! Even if it's just a book of poetry I'd sooo love it! I think my ideal publication would be in form of a song. I would love to have my name on the byline of a hit song.

Well I'm going to go relax and get some things done that really need done. Hope you enjoyed hearing about my day!
